Jamaica’s premier coffee event, the Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Festival, is returning for its 8th annual celebration on March 1, 2025. The Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF) will host this year’s festival at its new venue, Hope Gardens, promising an exciting day for coffee lovers and cultural enthusiasts alike.
The festival has become a major highlight since its debut in 2018, attracting international coffee aficionados to sample Jamaica’s renowned Blue Mountain coffee and explore the island’s rich heritage. This year’s event will feature a range of interactive experiences, from barista competitions and culinary demonstrations to artisan showcases, all designed to support local farmers, artisans, and tourism businesses.
In addition to the coffee-focused activities, the festival will host a Farmers Market, offering fresh produce and artisanal goods from the Blue Mountains. Visitors can also enjoy coffee-infused treats and traditional Jamaican dishes at the Taste Jamaica Food Court, with options ranging from pan chicken to vegan-friendly fare.
The family-friendly atmosphere will be further enhanced by a dedicated children’s area at Hope Zoo, offering entertainment for younger attendees.
Live performances by popular Jamaican artists, including Sanchez, Tanya Stephens, and the Charles Town Maroons, will take place throughout the day, with Miss Kitty and Jenny Jenny serving as hosts. The festival promises to be a vibrant celebration of Jamaica’s coffee culture and its vibrant traditions.
