London-based Black Sheep Coffee has announced the promotion of Ben Fenton to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Fenton, who joined the specialty robusta chain in June 2021, previously served as Global Operations & Development Director since March 2024.
In his new role, Fenton will collaborate closely with company founders Eirik Holth and Gabriel Shohet. His primary responsibilities will include supporting the chain’s outlet growth, enhancing in-store efficiencies, and overseeing day-to-day operations across its global network of stores.
Founded in 2013, Black Sheep Coffee currently operates 103 outlets in the UK, with additional stores in the UAE, the US, and France.
As part of its ongoing expansion efforts, the company has also promoted Kieran Littlewood to Head of Franchise Operations. Littlewood, who joined Black Sheep Coffee in February 2023 and previously held the role of Franchise Operations Manager, succeeds Jess Bouscarle in the position.
