Dalla Corte, a global leader in Italian espresso machine manufacturing, has announced a three-year sponsorship of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) UK Barista Championship, set to run from 2025 to 2027.
This sponsorship marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth within the UK specialty coffee market.
Thomas Hall, Head of Dalla Corte UK&I, emphasized the brand’s increasing influence in the UK, stating, “Over the past year, Dalla Corte has gained more traction in the UK specialty coffee sector than ever before.”
The company’s latest achievements include the launch of a new showroom in St Albans, its role as the official machine sponsor of Caffè Culture 2024, and now the sponsorship of the UK Barista Championship. Hall added, “This proves our dedication to making better coffee, with the UK’s incredible barista community at the forefront.”
The UK Barista Championship 2025 will feature nationwide heats in cities including Bristol, Sheffield, Chichester, and Glasgow, beginning in April. The competition will culminate in the final at London’s Tate Modern in July, with the winner advancing to HostMilano in October to compete for the World Barista Champion title.
Dalla Corte UK will provide its advanced Zero Barista espresso machines for the competition, along with additional equipment for roasting partners. The company’s team will also be present at every event to offer technical support, and machine training sessions will be held at the St Albans showroom for competitors and roasters throughout the championship.
Hall highlighted the precision and innovation of the Zero Barista, saying, “It’s a feat of Italian engineering, leveraging multi-boiler technology to ensure competitors can perform at their highest potential.”
