Blue Bottle Coffee is set to bring its renowned specialty coffee experience to Southeast Asia with the launch of its first café in Singapore. Opening in early 2025 at LUMINE SINGAPORE in Raffles City, this marks a major step in the brand’s global expansion.
The company, which began as a small coffee cart in Oakland, California, has grown into an internationally recognized name in specialty coffee. After making its initial Singapore debut with a retail store and exhibition in August 2024, Blue Bottle Coffee is now ready to offer a full café experience.
Designed as a destination for coffee lovers, the new café will highlight the brand’s meticulous brewing techniques and dedication to quality. Guests can expect a seasonally curated espresso menu featuring single-origin beans sourced and roasted with precision—hallmarks of Blue Bottle’s global reputation.
Since its founding in 2002, Blue Bottle Coffee has played a key role in the specialty coffee movement, expanding across the U.S., Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, China, and now Singapore. Backed by Nestlé since 2017, the company remains committed to small-batch roasting, precision brewing, and sustainable sourcing practices.
Blue Bottle Coffee’s entry into Singapore continues its longstanding collaboration with LUMINE, a major player in Japan’s retail and lifestyle industry. The two brands share a strong connection, with multiple Blue Bottle cafes already located in LUMINE shopping centers across Japan. Their partnership will further expand in March 2025 with another Blue Bottle café opening at NEWoMan TAKANAWA in Tokyo.
This latest expansion reflects Blue Bottle Coffee’s commitment to bringing high-quality coffee experiences to new markets while maintaining its craftsmanship and community-focused approach.
