Dutch Bros Coffee, a rapidly expanding drive-thru coffee chain, is set to open its first St. Louis-area location next week. The new shop will begin serving customers on Tuesday at 982 Bryan Road in O’Fallon, Missouri, the company announced.
The Oregon-based chain is also planning another location in the St. Louis metro area, including its first Illinois store at The Staenberg Group’s Orchard Town Center in Glen Carbon. That location is expected to open by summer, according to TSG officials.
Unlike traditional drive-thrus, Dutch Bros uses a unique service model where employees take orders on tablets and deliver coffee directly to customers’ cars.
Now a publicly traded company with more than 800 locations in 16 states, Dutch Bros has ambitious growth plans, aiming to reach 4,000 stores within the next 10 to 15 years.
