Baltimore, MD – In honor of Mr. Trash Wheel’s 10th anniversary, the beloved Inner Harbor icon has partnered with Zeke’s Coffee, a local coffee roastery, to release a commemorative coffee blend.
The Mr. Trash Wheel Coffee Blend is a harmonious combination of dark roasted Mexican beans and lightly roasted Ugandan beans. This unique blend delivers a full-bodied cup with enticing notes of almond, cocoa, nutmeg, and a hint of sweetness.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Zeke’s Coffee to create this special blend,” said Adam Lindquist, Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore’s Director of Healthy Harbor. “A portion of the proceeds will directly support our Healthy Harbor initiative, which is dedicated to improving the quality of Baltimore’s waterways.”
Brett Rhodes, Manager of Zeke’s Coffee, echoed Lindquist’s sentiments. “We are proud to support Mr. Trash Wheel’s mission and contribute to the beautification of our city,” Rhodes said. “This collaboration is a testament to the strong bonds within our local community.”
The official release of the Mr. Trash Wheel Coffee Blend will take place at the 10th Anniversary event on Saturday, April 20th. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample the blend and receive a commemorative “Wheely Wired” coffee mug.
Mr. Trash Wheel has become a symbol of Baltimore’s commitment to environmental stewardship. Since 2014, he and his family have removed over 2,300 tons of trash and debris from the city’s waterways. This collaboration with Zeke’s Coffee further demonstrates Mr. Trash Wheel’s impact and the community’s dedication to a cleaner and healthier Inner Harbor.
