The Saudi Coffee Company (SCC) and Halal Products Development Company (HPDC) have signed a new agreement aimed at expanding coffee products in the halal market through certifications.
HPDC, a Saudi-based organization, is dedicated to developing, certifying, and promoting halal-certified products in accordance with global halal standards. According to a statement from SCC, this partnership will allow both companies to explore opportunities for halal certification, knowledge exchange, and market expansion.
The agreement outlines cooperation on various initiatives, including workshops, market awareness, data and research, training and development, and halal certification compliance.
Mohammed Zainy, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at SCC, emphasized the importance of the collaboration, saying, “As the global demand for halal-certified products continues to rise, this partnership allows us to engage with new markets and find innovative ways to meet the needs of halal-conscious consumers.”
Dr. Sarah AlMugairin, Advisor to the CEO of HPDC, added that this collaboration will strengthen Saudi coffee’s position in global markets and further establish Saudi Arabia as a key player in the global halal market.
