As part of an extended collaboration with the London – based specialty coffee group Grind, Wagamama will now offer Grind’s signature coffee blend in all 165 of its UK restaurants.
The Japanese – inspired restaurant chain initially introduced Grind specialty coffee as part of a pilot brunch menu in 22 of its stores back in July 2024.
In a bid to attract customers with shorter visit times and increase footfall during the early part of the day, Wagamama has now rolled out Grind coffee across its nationwide outlets, accompanied by a new selection of sweet treats.
In a press statement, Wagamama declared that serving Grind coffee is “the ideal way to conclude any meal” and will also give customers “an entirely new incentive to drop by”.
Established in 2010, Grind currently has 11 outlets and three coffee carts operating across London. This boutique hospitality group, which also runs wholesale, e – commerce, and online subscription services, obtained B Corp certification in April 2024.
Stacey Britt Fitzgerald, Grind’s Brand Director, commented, “We’re overjoyed to be bringing our coffee to Wagamama guests all over the country. This partnership enables us to share our signature blends with even more individuals in a distinctive and exciting environment.”
In July 2024, British Airways, the UK airline, started serving Grind’s specialty coffee on all European flights departing from Heathrow and Gatwick airports. The group also counts private members’ club Soho House and Brewdog among its wholesale customers.
Other UK – based restaurant chains that have enhanced their coffee offerings through specialty coffee partnerships include Dishoom with Union Hand Roasted Coffee, Notto Pasta Bars with Assembly Coffee, and Coco Di Mama with Allpress Espresso.
