Oregon-based Dutch Bros. Coffee, a popular drive-thru coffee chain, is set to make its debut in the Ozarks with at least two new locations—one in Springfield and another in Ozark.
Dutch Bros., known for its stand-alone drive-thru model, has a strong presence across the western and southern U.S. and competes with brands like 7 Brew, Scooter’s Coffee, and Dunkin’. These new locations will be the company’s first in the region, with the nearest Dutch Bros. stores currently located in Kansas City, Tulsa, and St. Louis.
City of Springfield records show that the company has submitted a building permit for a site at 3840 W. Sunshine St., located within the Springfield Plaza shopping center. The new Dutch Bros. store will be positioned between Plaza Tire and Taco Bell, adding to a growing business corridor near Sunshine and West Bypass. Other upcoming businesses in the area include Target, Chick-fil-A, Olive Garden, Wendy’s, and Blu Current.
Meanwhile, the City of Ozark has announced a proposed 40-acre development called Ozark Marketplace, which would include a Dutch Bros. location. The project, located off South St. near U.S. 65, is still under discussion and would feature 12 other businesses, including Aldi, McDonald’s, and Plaza Tire.
With these expansions, Dutch Bros. is set to bring its signature coffee experience to Ozarks residents for the first time.
