Knoops, a UK – based specialty chain renowned for its drinking chocolate and coffee, has significantly enhanced its leadership cadre by making four senior hires. This strategic move is set to fuel the company’s ambitious growth plans on a global scale.
Jo Brett, the former President of Pret A Manger US, has assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer at Knoops. Brett’s career trajectory is marked by diverse and high – profile positions. After spending four and a half years at the helm of Pret A Manger US, she went on to become the CEO of the British chocolate firm Hotel Chocolat. Subsequently, she served as the Senior Vice President of Starbucks in the Middle East and North Africa for the Alshaya Group. Her extensive experience in leading major food and beverage brands across different regions will be invaluable to Knoops.
Kai Hepworth, a seasoned hospitality professional, has been appointed as the UK Managing Director. With three decades of experience in hospitality management and operations, Hepworth’s resume includes a four – year stint as the Operations Director for Costa Coffee‘s UK North region. His in – depth knowledge of the UK market and operational acumen will be key to Knoops’ continued success in its home territory.
Andrew Gerrie, the Co – Founder of the UK cosmetic brand Lush, has taken on the role of Non – Executive Chair. His expertise in brand building and business development from the cosmetics industry will bring a fresh perspective to Knoops’ strategic direction. Complementing this, Martin Long, the former CEO of Game Group, has joined as a Non – Executive Director. His experience in leading a well – known retail brand will contribute to Knoops’ growth strategy, especially as it looks to expand its footprint.
