Caliche Coffee has officially opened its newest location at Methodist Hospital | Hill Country, expanding beyond its original café at 338 W. Main St.
The new coffee shop, which opened on March 17, is designed for quick and convenient service, catering to hospital staff, patients, and visitors who need a fast yet high-quality coffee experience.
“The new café will bring the same high-quality coffee and welcoming atmosphere to a key community space, offering a much-needed respite for hospital staff, patients, and visitors alike,” said a hospital spokesperson.
Methodist Hospital approached Caliche Coffee’s owners with the idea of adding a café on the first floor, and the team quickly embraced the opportunity to serve the hospital’s bustling environment.
“With this new location, we aim to provide a convenient stop for those needing a comforting break—whether it’s a quick pick-me-up for a busy hospital worker or a relaxing pause for visitors,” said owner Sarah Washburne.
The hospital café will feature the same menu as the Main Street location, offering coffee, espresso drinks, tea, hot and cold beverages, along with bottled and canned drinks, snack bars, and other packaged items.
