Roest, the Norwegian coffee roasting equipment maker, has officially opened pre-orders for its P3000, a 3-kilo-capacity production roasting machine that has been eagerly awaited by the industry.
Priced at €32,900 EUR ($35,486 USD), the P3000 will be limited to just 100 units in 2025, with 50 already claimed. Additional pre-orders are expected to ship in 2026.
This fully automated convection roasting machine is Roest’s second major all-new model, following the release of its first 100-gram capacity model designed for sample roasting, launched eight years ago.
The P3000 comes equipped with advanced features, including automatic first crack detection, an internal camera system that tracks the color and size of the beans as they roast, and over 15 sensors that gather critical data like temperature and airflow. All of this is processed by Roest’s proprietary AI algorithm, which automatically adapts and executes roast profiles. The machine also offers between-batch resets for improved roasting efficiency.
