Costa Coffee has launched Wales’ first-ever 24-hour drive-thru at its Llantrisant Green Meadow location. The café chain extended the venue’s opening hours, adding three new baristas to ensure customers can enjoy coffee, tea, and food at any time of the day or night.
A Costa Coffee spokesperson said, “With our new 24-hour drive-thru, the first of its kind in Wales, we’re making it even easier for customers to enjoy our Mocha Italia Signature coffee and food menu whenever they need it. Whether it’s a late-night pick-me-up or an early morning start, our team is excited to bring the Costa Coffee experience to customers 24/7.”
The expansion follows a successful trial of Costa Coffee’s first 24-hour drive-thru at its Leicester Meridian East store in November 2024. The company says the initiative reflects its commitment to serving customers around the clock, including healthcare professionals, hospitality and retail workers, and delivery drivers.
Matt Harman, Costa Coffee’s Regional Operations Director for North and Central England, emphasized the brand’s dedication to the community. “Costa Coffee has always been at the heart of the community, and this trial is another way for us to serve our customers when they need us most,” he said. “Whether it’s a late-night coffee run or an early breakfast for commuters, our team is ready to deliver the Costa Coffee experience around the clock.”
