JABLUM Coffee House is preparing for a significant expansion, with a new location set to open in the next two months, adding to its current four outlets across Jamaica.
Norman Grant, Managing Director and CEO of Mavis Bank Coffee Factory, shared the exciting news in an exclusive interview with South Florida Caribbean News at Expo Jamaica 2025, taking place at the National Arena in Kingston.
“This is one of the key areas where the company is focusing its growth,” Grant explained, noting the increasing demand for authentic Jamaican coffee experiences. He revealed that the company’s goal is to open a JABLUM Coffee House in every parish across Jamaica within the next 18 months, bringing the renowned Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee closer to both locals and visitors.
In addition to its coffeehouse expansion, JABLUM is also working to increase its local distribution. Grant emphasized, “We want every tourist who visits Jamaica to leave with a pack of Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee — that’s the strategy we’re pursuing.”
These efforts are part of a broader initiative to strengthen the JABLUM brand, improve customer access, and expand both domestic and international markets for Jamaican coffee.
Japan remains the largest market for Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee, with around 70% of total production exported there. The United States follows with 20%, while the remaining 10% is distributed across Europe and other global markets.
