Starbucks is working to recover from a 4% sales drop in the UK last year, attributing the decline to a “challenging consumer environment.” The decrease in sales came after the company faced a boycott during the Israel-Hamas war, which it says was based on false accusations.
The coffee chain was incorrectly included in a list of companies supporting Israel. In response, Starbucks issued a statement clarifying its stance: “We have no political agenda. We do not use our profits to fund any government or military operations anywhere — and never have.”
