A new coffee shop, A.M. Buzz, is set to open in downtown Detroit this spring. Located at 600 W. Lafayette inside the Cambria Hotel, the spot once housed Detroit’s WWJ AM Radio station.
The cafe will serve freshly brewed drip coffee, cappuccinos, lattes, and a “Build Your Own Brekkie” breakfast sandwich. There will also be grab-and-go salads and deli sandwiches available. Customers can place orders at self-serve kiosks in-store or through the cafe’s website. Additionally, a walk-up window will be available on Lafayette, near Third Street.
“By incorporating our love for radio and the buzz it creates, we are excited to provide a place for both locals and visitors of Detroit to enjoy breakfast and coffee,” said co-owner Joseph Caradonna.
The cafe will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. A grand opening date will be announced soon.
