MeCo Coffee Collective, originally founded in Longmont, has opened a new location in downtown Frederick, bringing its signature espresso, pastries, and community spirit to the Carbon Valley.
The café now operates out of the former Mountain Cowboy Brewing Company building. This marks MeCo’s third store, following successful openings in Longmont in 2021 and Lafayette in 2023.
Co-owners Isaac Olson and Shane Stinn say the new Frederick location is another opportunity to build connections.
“We are really excited to be a part of any community that welcomes us,” Olson said.
The Frederick café held its grand opening in December. Olson and Stinn say they are focused not just on coffee, but on creating welcoming spaces for people to gather.
Wendi Braden, membership director of the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce, praised MeCo’s growth.
“Longmont has done a great job supporting local businesses. That support has helped MeCo grow and expand into other communities,” Braden said.
With three locations now open, MeCo Coffee Collective continues to blend its passion for quality coffee with a strong commitment to local engagement.
