A new café, Saisons Sucrées, will soon open in downtown New Canaan, bringing a taste of Paris to the heart of the town. Located at 84 Main St., the café will offer a selection of refined French pastries, savory dishes, bread, sandwiches, chocolates, coffee, and tea. The space, previously an art gallery, will open its doors to customers this spring.
Saisons Sucrées, which translates to “Sweet Seasons,” promises a luxurious and authentic Parisian experience. The café’s website states that it is committed to using high-quality ingredients, including imported French flour and butter, along with fresh, locally sourced produce to create vibrant flavors.
A sign on the café’s door announces that it will officially open on April 21. However, the café’s owners were not immediately available for comment.
Saisons Sucrées will join a growing number of coffee shops and cafés in New Canaan, including popular spots like Zumbach’s, Patisserie Salzburg, Badass Bagels, Dunkin’, Starbucks, The Farmer’s Grind, Dolce, and The Adirondack Store. Another new bakery, Flour Water Salt Bread, is also set to open soon on East Avenue.
