One of Guam’s most recognizable coffee shops, Coffee Slut, has reopened at a new location in Dusit Place, Tumon, marking a fresh chapter for the beloved local brand.
The shop opened its doors two weeks ago and is gradually returning to full operation, reintroducing its signature drinks and merchandise that made it a favorite among coffee lovers.
Coffee Slut’s founder and creative director, Melchor Manibusan, said the new location comes with big plans to bring energy back to Tumon, an area that has struggled since the start of the pandemic.
“I want to bring some life to this place,” Manibusan told the Pacific Daily News. “We all know, since COVID, this place has already been dead for five years, and I think we have a great opportunity. We have a great location, and I want to take advantage of it.”
To help revitalize the area, Coffee Slut is planning to host weekend sidewalk parties and live entertainment.
Known for its cold brew, nitro coffee, and coffee leaf teas, Coffee Slut has become a staple in Guam’s coffee scene for nearly 10 years. Its bold branding and support for local creatives have made it more than just a café — it’s also a cultural hub. The shop has partnered with at least 25 local brands, further rooting itself in the island’s creative community.
The move to Dusit Place came after the lease expired at Coffee Slut’s previous location, prompting several offers from other hotels. Ultimately, Tumon was chosen for its potential and visibility.
