For the first time, the Specialty Coffee Association’s (SCA) premier European trade show, World of Coffee, will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, in 2025.
The SCA, the world’s largest coffee trade organization, announced today that the event will be held from June 26 to June 28, 2025, at the Palexpo convention center. This announcement comes a month before the 2024 World of Coffee event in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In addition to the Geneva event, the SCA is planning two other World of Coffee shows next year in Jakarta and Dubai. The organization will also host its annual United States trade show, the Specialty Coffee Expo, in Houston.
“Geneva is the perfect host for World of Coffee 2025, offering a vibrant, forward-thinking environment,” said SCA CEO Yannis Apostolopoulos. “Switzerland’s relationship with coffee began with the grand European coffee houses of the 17th century and continues today with thriving food and beverage, hospitality, and technology industries shaping the entire coffee value chain.”
The Geneva event will be supported by recurring corporate sponsors, including Austria-based water solutions provider BWT Water+More and the espresso equipment brand Barista Attitude, a part of Italy’s Ryoma Group.
