Probat, a leading manufacturer of coffee roasting technology, has once again been honored as one of the world’s Best Managed Companies. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the company has received this prestigious recognition from a panel of expert judges.
The Best Managed Companies program annually celebrates successful medium-sized enterprises, aiming to build a global and national ecosystem of excellently managed small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The 2023 awards ceremony was held on May 24 at the Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten botanic gardens in Frankfurt, Germany.
Probat’s award-winning focus on sustainability played a significant role in securing this recognition. The company has prioritized sustainability in recent years, carefully analyzing the impact of its activities on various stakeholders and interest groups. Probat plans to present these findings, along with other long-term goals, in its inaugural sustainability report for the 2022 reporting period.
“Probat’s corporate management has always been oriented towards sustainability and future viability, consistently focusing on the needs of future generations. Being recognized as a Best Managed Company once again confirms that bold and forward-thinking decisions significantly contribute to our sustained success,” said Wim Abbing, CEO of Probat.
The Best Managed Companies Award is presented by Deloitte, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and UBS, in collaboration with the Federation of German Industries.
Probat stands as a global leader in marketing and technology for coffee processing plants and machinery, boasting over 155 years of industry experience. The company, along with its subsidiaries in Brazil, Canada, India, Italy, Scotland, the Netherlands, and the United States, employs approximately 1,200 people worldwide.
