McKenna Haase’s entrepreneurial journey began with a childhood lemonade stand and has now led her to own a mobile coffee business showcased at the Indianapolis 500.
When presented with the chance to feature her Stop 11 Coffee trailer at the Indy 500, Haase eagerly seized the opportunity. The offer became even more enticing when she discovered that Roger Penske himself arranged for her small trailer to receive a fresh coat of paint and a prime location in the bustling Pagoda Plaza.
“I’ve always had a passion for entrepreneurship,” Haase said, reflecting on her early ambitions. When she found an opportunity to purchase a mobile coffee trailer, she quickly learned the art of coffee making and set her business in motion. The name Stop 11 Coffee was inspired by a personal experience: after a serious car accident left her stranded on Stop 11 Road, she decided to name her venture after the busy street.
In addition to running her coffee business, Haase is also a sprint car racer and operates a foundation. Looking ahead, she aspires to continue her entrepreneurial endeavors and envisions a future in racing management.
On race day at the Indianapolis 500, the small blue Stop 11 Coffee trailer was a hive of activity, serving coffee to attendees from around the globe. “It’s been really encouraging,” Haase remarked about the extraordinary opportunity.
