Kevin Costner, renowned for his gritty roles in the series “Yellowstone” and the forthcoming film “Horizon: An American Saga,” reveals a more relaxed side of himself through his latest venture—a coffee collaboration with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters.
The collaboration introduces the “Mountainside Mocha Latte,” a chocolate-infused, ready-to-drink mocha inspired by Costner’s preferred coffee style. This medium-dark roast, rich with bold flavors and dark chocolate notes, reflects the essence of the American West. The new blend is available as K-cups on Keurig.com, each pod containing coffee, sweetener, and real dairy.
Known for his love of flavored coffee, Costner shares that he enjoys a touch of sweetness in his cup. “I don’t always drink my coffee black—I like chocolate in it,” Costner states. “So I wanted to create something I enjoy, because having one in the morning is a delight.”
Costner actively participated in perfecting the flavor profile, emphasizing his preference for chocolate. “I said, ‘I want some chocolate in this thing,’ and I decided on the exact amount,” he adds.
The Mountainside Mocha Latte, compatible with all Keurig single-serve coffee makers, is available now on Keurig.com.
This launch follows the release of Costner’s previous collaboration with Green Mountain, the “Horizon Blend,” in December. Available on Amazon.com, the Horizon Blend features earthy, smoky flavors that mirror the rugged American West. This blend also ties into Costner’s new film, “Horizon: An American Saga,” which premieres on June 28.
