Hacienda La Esmeralda Gears Up To Celebrate 20 Years Of Panarma Geisha Coffee

by Jessica

Hacienda La Esmeralda, renowned for its acclaimed Panamanian coffee, has announced the date for its annual auction this year. The event, titled “20 years of Esmeralda Geisha: A Tribute to the Panama Highlands,” will be held on August 22 in collaboration with M-Cultivo, marking a significant milestone since the discovery of the farm’s prized Panama Geisha coffee.

Alexandra Peterson, a fourth-generation producer at Hacienda La Esmeralda, emphasized the auction’s theme reflecting the farm’s commitment to biodiversity conservation: “This year’s auction theme represents the diversity of life on our farms. The emergence of the Geisha variety has allowed us to invest in the preservation of the native flora and fauna that surrounds our coffee. We hope to continue this tradition for decades to come.”
