LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, Md. — PJ’s Coffee, a beloved coffee chain hailing from New Orleans, has marked a significant milestone with the grand opening of its third Maryland location in Linthicum, Anne Arundel County. Situated on South Camp Meade Road, within the premises of the former Sandy Spring Bank adjacent to Domino’s Pizza, the new establishment officially opened its doors in late May.
Today’s grand opening festivities were met with enthusiastic participation from the community, featuring family-friendly attractions like a Moonbounce and a host of giveaways. Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy complimentary samples and vie for prizes such as free coffee for a year.
Known for its distinctive offerings, PJ’s Coffee specializes in a variety of caffeinated beverages, including an ice coffee brewed using a proprietary cold-drip process designed to reduce acidity by up to two-thirds. In addition to their renowned coffee, PJ’s menu boasts traditional New Orleans-style beignets, alongside a selection of baked goods, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and convenient grab’n’go items.
PJ’s Coffee has already established a presence in the D.C. metropolitan area with locations in Silver Spring and Bowie, and is set to open another branch soon in Camp Springs, Prince George’s County. While primarily rooted in Louisiana and Texas, the expansion into Linthicum Heights underscores PJ’s commitment to bringing its unique blend of flavors and community-focused ethos to new audiences.
Operating hours for the Linthicum Heights location are scheduled from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends, offering locals ample opportunity to indulge in PJ’s signature brews and culinary delights.
This latest addition not only enhances PJ’s Coffee’s footprint in the region but also promises a welcoming space for coffee aficionados and community members alike to savor a taste of New Orleans charm right in the heart of Linthicum Heights.
