Noosa Shire’s elected officials will be hitting the local café circuit on Friday, July 26, for an informal meet-and-greet with residents. Councillors Nicola Wilson, Brian Stockwell, Tom Wegener, Jessica Phillips, Amelia Lorentson, and Karen Finzel, alongside Mayor Frank Wilkie, will visit Pomona, Sunrise Beach, and Tewantin to discuss key community concerns and issues.
In line with the Council’s ongoing commitment to enhancing community engagement, this initiative—dubbed “Councillor Coffee Chats”—aims to foster open dialogue between residents and their local leaders. These sessions are designed to provide an accessible platform for residents to share their thoughts and questions in a relaxed setting.
The inaugural Councillor Coffee Chat is scheduled for Friday, July 26, with sessions running from 9 to 11 a.m. at three popular local cafés. No prior appointment is necessary; residents are encouraged to drop by at their convenience during the two-hour window.
The meeting locations are:
Pomona Village Kitchen: 2 Memorial Avenue, Pomona
The Marina Bar: 2 Parkyn Court, Tewantin
Chalet and Co: 11/1 Tingira Crescent, Sunshine Beach
Residents are invited to join their councillors for a coffee and conversation, providing an opportunity to discuss important local issues and stay informed about Council activities.
