Costa Coffee is sending 130 team members to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as part of its official partnership with the event. The staff, chosen from six countries, will represent the brand and gain valuable experience.
Jonathan Crookall, Chief People Officer at Costa Coffee, emphasized the dual benefits of showcasing the brand globally while investing in team development. Participants, including baristas, team managers, and Field Service Engineers, were selected based on their skills and underwent extensive training.
Katie Cotton, a Marketing Graduate, and Colin Goodchild, a Field Service Engineer, expressed their excitement about the opportunity to work at the Games and represent Costa Coffee.
Costa Coffee will operate six kiosks with 110 Pacto machines and offer Olympic-themed reusable cups. They will also host a coffee masterclass for athletes and spectators, enhancing the event’s coffee culture experience.
