New Coffee Drive-Thru to Replace Recently Closed Fast-Food Restaurant

by Jessica

The abrupt closure of a fast-food restaurant is set to make way for a new drive-thru coffee establishment.

A franchisee of the Arkansas-based chain 7 Brew Coffee is currently awaiting final approval from the St. Charles City Council to proceed with plans to demolish the former fast-food restaurant building and erect a new coffee shop. The decision on the approval is expected within the week.

The location, situated at 1698 Country Club Plaza Drive, occupies a prime spot at the northeast corner of First Capitol Drive and Friedens Road. This site was previously home to a Fazoli’s restaurant, which unexpectedly ceased operations last week without prior notice to its patrons. The property is owned by WT Legacy LLC, with Sara Stock listed as the registered agent in official county and state documents.

The new coffee shop will be located next to the Country Club Place shopping center, which is managed by a commercial real estate firm, Pace Properties, headquartered in Brentwood.
