Single O has launched a new coffee bar in Tokyo’s Shibuya district, marking a significant expansion following the April debut of Ryogoku Roastworks.
CEO Mike Brabant expressed enthusiasm about the vibrant coffee culture in Japan and praised local cafés that feature Single O’s beans.
The new location in the AXSH building offers a compact, takeaway-only experience, blending convenience with high-quality coffee. Designed by Sydney’s Luchetti Krelle and featuring artwork by Kentaro Yoshida, the bar includes four self-serve batch taps and a menu with the Reservoir blend and select single origins.
Food options combine Japanese and Australian influences, highlighted by the Tokyo BAE roll. The store, led by Yu and Mamiko Yamamoto, promotes sustainability by encouraging reusable cups, with a 30 yen fee for single-use cups.
