New Delhi – Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd, the owner of the Cafe Coffee Day brand, has reached a settlement with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) regarding a breach of disclosure regulations. The company has agreed to pay a settlement amount of ₹7.52 lakh.
The settlement was reached after Coffee Day Enterprises proposed to Sebi that it resolve the matter without acknowledging or denying the allegations. According to Sebi, the settlement effectively concludes the adjudication proceedings against the company. “In light of the acceptance of the settlement terms and receipt of the settlement amount, the adjudication proceedings initiated against the company have been resolved,” Sebi stated.
The case was initiated by Sebi due to alleged breaches of the Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) regulations.
