Tim Hortons Expands in UAE with Union Coop Partnership

Tim Hortons, the Canadian coffee giant, is partnering with Dubai’s Union Coop to open new stores in the UAE. This collaboration will see Tim Hortons set up outlets in eight Union Coop shopping centres this year, with plans to expand across all 27 centres by 2025.

Hesham Almekkawi, CEO of Tim Hortons Middle East, emphasized the significance of the UAE in their regional growth and cultural exchange. The chain currently operates 86 locations in the UAE.

Founded in Ontario in 1964, Tim Hortons now has over 5,800 outlets globally. In the Middle East, the brand operates under AG Café, a joint venture with Apparel Group and Gateway Partners, and has 300 stores across the region.
