Campfire Coffee in Negaunee hosted a popular book swap event on Thursday evening, offering a unique opportunity for locals to exchange their reading material. The event invited attendees to bring a book from their personal collection and trade it for a new one, all at no cost.
According to Campfire Coffee staff, the book swap is a great way for participants to explore different genres without incurring the expense of purchasing new books.
Allison Carpenter, the General Manager of Campfire Coffee, expressed her enthusiasm for the event, highlighting the natural synergy between coffee and books.
“Thursday nights provide a perfect occasion for people to venture into downtown, enjoy a gelato or a decaf latte if it’s too late for caffeine, and discover new books,” Carpenter noted.
Looking ahead, Carpenter mentioned that the coffee shop plans to host the book swap on a monthly basis, fostering a community of book lovers in the area.
