Nashville is set to welcome a beloved Canadian institution, Tim Hortons, with the announcement of its first location in the city. Metro Council member Jeff Gregg revealed on Friday that a permit application has been submitted for the new Tim Hortons at 2527 Lebanon Pike in Donelson, occupying the former site of a Krystal restaurant.
Renowned for its coffee, donuts, and diverse menu offerings, Tim Hortons is planning to expand further into Middle Tennessee. According to previous reports by the Tennessean, a local entrepreneur aims to open multiple Tim Hortons branches throughout the region, beginning with Mount Juliet. This marks the first official announcement of a Nashville-based Tim Hortons.
Naren Patel, who manages 14 Golden Bear convenience stores across Middle Tennessee, has ambitious plans for the chain. Patel’s goal is to establish 45 Tim Hortons locations in the area, with additional sites slated for Lebanon, Gallatin, and Spring Hill.
The introduction of Tim Hortons is part of Tennessee’s broader fast-food expansion, which also includes new establishments such as Raising Cane’s, In-N-Out Burger, and Whataburger.
