Costa Coffee, a leading coffee chain with numerous locations across Newcastle and beyond, has revamped its loyalty program, Costa Club, offering a new benefit for its members. Traditionally, Costa Club members have been able to collect a “bean” stamp for every coffee purchase, with 10 beans earning them a complimentary drink.
Now, the company has introduced a new feature called ‘Swaps,’ allowing customers to exchange two beans for a variety of add-ons, such as syrups, cream, or an extra shot of coffee. This perk is also available to those who use a reusable cup, who typically earn two beans per purchase.
In an email newsletter, Costa Coffee announced the enhancement to its customers, saying, “We’re excited to introduce an extra benefit for Costa Club members. Along with earning 10 beans towards your usual free drink, Swaps lets you enjoy a little reward more often.”
The company further explained that the Swaps reward can be used in-store, through Click & Collect, or via Click & Serve, providing options for customers to add a splash of syrup, a dollop of cream, an extra shot, or even a dairy alternative to their drink. Costa Club members can use one or more Swaps to customize their beverages and enhance their coffee experience.
