Beginning August 28, 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes convenience stores nationwide will offer a limited-edition coffee blend as part of a dual celebration: the 60th anniversary of 7-Eleven’s introduction of freshly brewed coffee in to-go cups and the 30th anniversary of Green Day’s seminal album.
To mark this occasion, 7-Eleven and Punk Bunny are hosting a special event at 800 6th Ave., New York City. Starting at 8 a.m. ET on August 28, the first 50 attendees who receive a custom 7-Eleven x Punk Bunny tattoo will be rewarded with complimentary 7-Eleven coffee for 711 days. The semi-permanent tattoos, designed by Lady Cobra, a renowned Bay Area tattoo artist, will be applied on-site.
Dennis Phelps, senior vice president of merchandising at 7-Eleven, stated, “As we commemorate 60 years of being the pioneering retailer of freshly brewed coffee in to-go cups, it’s exciting to collaborate with Punk Bunny to offer our customers an exclusive coffee experience and celebrate in a unique way.”
The Punk Bunny Coffee Anniversary Blend offers a complex flavor profile, combining citrus notes with rich stone fruit undertones, finished with warm cocoa and a subtle hint of spice. Alongside this exclusive blend, Punk Bunny is introducing fair trade certified coffee options, including bagged blends and K-Cups of the Sound Check and Last Ride In roasts, available at participating stores.
Additionally, customers can obtain a limited-edition Punk Bunny-themed refill mug in-store, while the 7Collection online shop features a special range of merchandise including co-branded t-shirts, tote bags, and stickers.
