abCoffee Expands into Shoppers Stop Stores

by Jessica

Indian coffee chain abCoffee is making a strategic move by opening cafés within Shoppers Stop department stores, as part of a new partnership with the Mumbai-based retail giant.

The initial trio of cafés launched in August 2024 at Shoppers Stop locations in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. According to abCoffee CEO Abhijeet Anand, plans are already underway for four additional sites, with ambitions to expand further in 2025.

This collaboration could significantly enhance abCoffee’s presence, potentially integrating the coffee chain into Shoppers Stop’s extensive network of 114 stores spread across 37 cities in India.

Supported by Nexus Venture Partners and Singapore’s Tanglin Venture Partners, abCoffee has secured $5.4 million in the past year to expedite the rollout of its quick-service coffee shops.
