Dutch Bros Coffee, the popular drive-thru chain renowned for its iconic windmill logo and dedicated fan base, is expanding its reach into the Bay Area’s bustling communities.
Currently, Dutch Bros has made its mark south of the Bay Area with a new location in Hollister, San Benito County. The chain has also established a presence in Contra Costa and Solano counties with outlets in Concord, Brentwood, Vacaville, and Fairfield.
The brand’s inaugural drive-thru in Santa Clara County is slated for Gilroy, located within the newly developed 10th and Chestnut retail complex. While an official opening date has yet to be announced, Gilroy city officials confirm that Dutch Bros is progressing through the building plan review stage.
This new addition will complement the recently opened Chick-fil-A at the same development.
Founded in 1999 by brothers Dane and Travis Boersma, Dutch Bros began as a modest pushcart offering coffee and music, a departure from their previous careers in the dairy industry.
For the fall season, the chain is featuring a menu that includes the Caramel Pumpkin Brulee, Cookie Butter Latte, and the Caramel Apple Rebel energy drink.
