Costa Coffee has unveiled a new inflight drinks menu on all easyJet flights, expanding its presence across the airline’s extensive network.
Following a successful launch on UK flights last month, Costa Coffee’s offerings are now available to international travelers on all 1,184 easyJet routes, serving 170 destinations across 35 countries.
To mark the occasion, Costa Coffee’s master of coffee, Gennaro Pelliccia, treated passengers on a flight from London Gatwick to Rome with a special coffee experience at 30,000 feet. The surprise included complimentary goodie bags and a selection of beverages from Costa Coffee’s new inflight range, including Salted Caramel Latte and Cappuccino, which were developed in collaboration with easyJet.
The onboard atmosphere buzzed with excitement as Pelliccia, celebrated for his expertise and passion for coffee, shared insights and anecdotes about crafting the perfect Costa Coffee.
Pelliccia remarked, “It was an absolute pleasure to bring the Costa Coffee experience to life in the sky. Sharing a perfect cup of coffee with passengers on their journey to Rome was a dream come true. Our Italian heritage continuously inspires us to innovate and enhance coffee experiences for fans worldwide. Partnering with easyJet allows us to make every flight a little more special.”
Russell Braterman, easyJet’s in-flight retail director, stated, “We are constantly seeking ways to improve the onboard experience for our millions of customers and provide them with the choices they want. We are thrilled to introduce this new Costa Coffee range on all our flights, which complements our popular EAT DRINK range onboard.”
