Belgian bakery-café chain Le Pain Quotidien has announced plans to broaden its international footprint with a new franchise agreement to enter the Uzbekistan market.
Currently operating in 18 countries, Le Pain Quotidien has partnered with Restofoods LLC to introduce its concept to Central Asia. Details on the specific launch date and the number of planned stores have not yet been disclosed.
Annick Van Overstraeten, CEO of Le Pain Quotidien, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, “I’m truly excited to bring Le Pain Quotidien to this beautiful country and to begin this journey together with such passionate partners. Thank you again for your generosity and support—I’m looking forward to the future.”
This announcement follows Le Pain Quotidien’s recent plans to re-enter India through a master franchise agreement with Bake & Brew Private Limited. The company also has agreements to establish locations in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Peru.
