Williamson, W.Va. – The West Virginia Hive Network is set to host its upcoming “Coffee Talks” networking event on Tuesday, October 1, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at The Collective Retail & Artisan Shops, located at 68 Second Avenue, Williamson, W.Va. This event aims to foster connections among local entrepreneurs and offer an insightful platform for discussing the challenges and rewards of the entrepreneurial journey.
The session will feature key members of the WV Hive Business Advising Team, including Mary Legg, Senior Business Advisor. Legg will lead an engaging conversation with Chris Canterbury, a business owner and the President of the Tug Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Randall Sanger, a renowned landscape photographer and the Chamber’s Executive Director. Attendees will have the chance to hear these local leaders share their experiences and insights into entrepreneurship in the Mingo County region. This edition of Coffee Talks is proudly sponsored by the First National Bank of Williamson.
In addition to the networking event, the WV Hive team will embark on a “Community Days” initiative, visiting small businesses in Logan and Mingo counties on September 30 and October 1. This outreach effort is designed to support local businesses and strengthen community ties.
While Coffee Talks is free and open to the public, prior registration is required to attend.
The WV Hive Network serves as the entrepreneurship program of the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority, covering a 13-county region that includes Raleigh, Fayette, Summers, Nicholas, Webster, Greenbrier, Pocahontas, Monroe, Mercer, McDowell, Wyoming, Logan, and Mingo counties.
