Andrea Silvestri, the Italian Ambassador to North Macedonia, attended the inaugural Skopje Coffee Festival today, held on the rooftop of Skopje City Mall.
The festival, featuring the slogan #wakethecityUp, will take place over the next two days, offering visitors a chance to sample coffee from some of Italy’s most renowned brands.

According to a statement from the Embassy, Italy was the sixth largest coffee exporter globally in 2023, with exports valued at €1.8 billion, representing 6.1% of the world total. Additionally, Italy ranked first in terms of the quantity of roasted coffee exported.
