MANISTIQUE, Mich. – Limestone Federal Credit Union, a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (FHLBank Indianapolis), has successfully secured a $19,693 Elevate Small Business grant for The Grind Coffee House.
The Grind Coffee House is dedicated to its mission of providing quality coffee while positively impacting the community. The funding from the Elevate Small Business grant will be used to purchase an additional espresso machine and enhance the seating area for customers.
Owner and operator Hali Holt expressed her excitement about being the inaugural recipient of the Elevate Grant from Limestone Federal Credit Union. “This grant will allow us to add an additional espresso machine, improve our seating area to create an all-inclusive environment, and refine our skills efficiently,” Holt said. “We are grateful for this opportunity to foster growth within the shop and enhance the service we provide to our community.”
Holt emphasized the café’s commitment to offering not only exceptional beverages and service but also a safe and welcoming space for all patrons. “We hope this grant will help us build on that foundation and continue to achieve our goals,” she added, thanking Limestone Federal Credit Union for their support.
The Elevate grant program is available to for-profit businesses in Indiana and Michigan with annual revenues under $1 million. Each year, applications are assessed based on their feasibility and potential impact on the local community.
