Buna Kurs Media has unveiled plans for the inaugural Coffee Origin Festival (COFE), set to be held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from October 1 to 3, 2024. The event will coincide with International Coffee Day, celebrated on October 1.
Hosted at the Skylight Hotel in the heart of the Ethiopian capital, the festival, organized by OTW 2024, aims to honor Ethiopia’s rich heritage as the birthplace of coffee. This landmark event is set to shine a spotlight on the country’s profound coffee legacy.
“COFE is more than just a local event; it’s a tribute to Ethiopia’s deep connection to coffee and a crucial step in showcasing our nation’s significance in the global coffee industry,” said the Buna Kurs Media team in a statement.
The festival promises a wide range of attractions celebrating Ethiopia’s cultural history, including live performances, exhibitions, and exclusive coffee tastings. Attendees can also expect engaging panel discussions focused on innovation and sustainability within the coffee sector.
Buna Kurs Media credited its partnerships with major industry players, including the International Coffee Organization, for helping secure international recognition for COFE.
