Canadian coffeehouse chain Tim Hortons is preparing to celebrate National Coffee Day on September 29, 2024, by releasing limited-edition collectible cups at participating locations across the country.
These cups will feature five unique bilingual designs, each offering one of five motivational messages: “You Got This,” “Cheers,” “Here’s To You,” “You Do You,” and “XOXO.” The cups will be randomly distributed to customers ordering a medium hot coffee.
Hope Bagozzi, Tim Hortons’ chief marketing officer, expressed the significance of this initiative, stating, “For many of our guests, the simple act of treating their loved ones with a Tim’s coffee can mean so much. We wanted to celebrate that power of connection and kindness with these limited-edition cups in the lead-up to National Coffee Day.”
Bagozzi added, “As the home of Canada’s favourite coffee, we’re proud to be a part of the daily routines of millions of Canadians and hope these cups inspire guests to think about the special people in their lives they want to share a coffee with.”
In August 2024, Tim Hortons also collaborated with Nutella to introduce a selection of baked goods and beverages infused with the popular hazelnut spread, including a Dream Cookie, a Dream Donut, and a filled croissant.
