Costa Coffee has contributed £1,000 to the Lloc and District Riding Club as part of its Community Grant scheme, underscoring its commitment to positively impacting local communities around its stores.
As part of its initiative to support local sports clubs nationwide, Costa has donated a total of £50,000 to 50 community sports groups and charities this year alone.
Established in the 1980s, the Lloc and District Riding Club provides a safe and professional environment for developing equestrian skills. The volunteer-run organization hosts various events, training sessions, and social gatherings throughout the year.
Emma Jones, chairperson of the Lloc and District Riding Club, expressed gratitude for the grant, stating, “We are grateful to receive the Costa Coffee Community Grant, which will be a huge help to our ever-growing club. We plan to use the funding for essential maintenance of our equipment and land, as well as to purchase new warm-up jumps for competition days. It’s a great boost for our close-knit community of members and volunteer team.”
