Swedish manufacturer Aarke is set to launch a stylish and efficient collection of coffee accessories aimed at caffeine lovers. The new Aarke Coffee System will feature a coffee maker and grinder, slated for release in late October 2024.
Introducing the Aarke Coffee System
The Aarke Coffee System will include a freestanding grinder, a coffee maker, and a thermal jug, which will be available later. All products will be crafted from Aarke’s signature polished stainless steel. The company, founded in 2013 by industrial designers Jonas Groth and Carl Ljungh, focuses on creating everyday objects with sleek designs and high-quality materials.
The Coffee System is designed for those seeking a simple yet stylish filter coffee-making experience.
User-Friendly Features
The freestanding grinder is designed for ease of use. It will automatically calculate the amount of ground coffee needed based on the water in the tank. Following the grinder, the coffee maker adjusts itself to ensure the perfect brewing temperature. The optional thermal jug is designed to keep coffee at an optimal temperature for extended periods.
While each component can function independently, they are designed to work harmoniously together, creating an attractive and functional kitchen setup.
A Commitment to Quality and Design
According to Ljungh, the development of the Aarke Coffee System emphasizes a human-centered design approach. “There are no shortcuts when developing a product with a human-centered approach,” he said. “A carefully engineered product shouldn’t be complicated to use. It takes countless hours and iterations to create a well-thought-out and high-quality product. The Aarke Coffee System is intuitive without compromising elegance or quality.”
Brewing Efficiency
The Aarke coffee maker is designed to brew a full pot in under six minutes. While the thermal jug can be used on its own, it is designed to work directly with the coffee maker and does not activate the warming plate. Aarke has also received approval from the European Coffee Brewing Centre, an independent organization established by the Norwegian Coffee Association.
With the launch of the Aarke Coffee System, coffee enthusiasts can look forward to a blend of style, efficiency, and quality in their daily coffee routines.
