In June 2024, the New Zealand-based café group announced ambitious plans to expand its Esquires Coffee presence in the UK and Ireland from 67 to 300 outlets over the next decade.

Esquires Coffee reported a remarkable 36% year-on-year sales growth in the UK for the six months ending September 29, 2024, achieving £11.4 million ($14.9 million) in sales, while revenues in Ireland also increased by 6.7% to £5.1 million ($6.6 million).

The appointment comes after Esquires Coffee became Cooks Coffee’s sole café chain in October 2023, following the voluntary administration of its 11-store Triple Two coffee chain.
